The first weekend in a operational shop is behind me. I was able to make three pens.
Before you say it, I am fully aware there are four pens here. I made the wooden one a couple of weeks ago when the woodworking show was in town.
For anyone unfamiliar with how these pens are made, they start out as the blocks at the bottom of the picture only about 5 inches long. You select a pen kit based on the style of the pen you want then turn the blank to shape and assemble it. My local Woodcraft store carries about 50 pen styles (shape and color combinations) and over 100 blanks. There are many more available on their website. If you want some fun, check out their pen designer to see some of the styles and blank combinations.
Hey, they even write.
